Once again Zoe TeBeau brings her own version of the “Antiques Road Show” to the University Club. This event was great fun the last three years. You are invited to bring one item to be informally appraised. It can be a historic heirloom or just an interesting object from your home. Watch and learn as Ms. TeBeau uses her expertise and years of experience and knowledge to help us evaluate our prized possessions. If your item is big, heavy, or too delicate to handle, take a picture of it with your phone. She will use the phone image to evaluate it.
As an independent accredited appraiser and a member of International Society of Appraisers (ISA), Ms. TeBeau is required to remain continually updated and tested in appraisal knowledge and must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. The designation of ISA is assurance that appraisal reports meet the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, the only standard for appraisals, which is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and The Appraisal Foundation.
