“Model Rocketry” –
Sam Atwood built and flew model rockets during his youth, which coincided with America’s Space Race. Since his dad worked for NASA, model rocketry became a passion, leading him to national competitions and hours spent in the family rocket shop. Fast-forward several decades, and Sam rediscovered an enthusiasm for building and launching much larger high-powered rockets in the High Desert. Join Sam as he shares his personal journey into a fun and intriguing hobby.
