The award-winning Claremont High School Singers will be performing fabulous new seasonal songs from around the world. Their director, Dr. Joel Wilson, is a graduate of Claremont High School and earned his PhD from Cal Poly, Pomona. This program is an annual holiday event at the University Club. Bring a spouse or friend, wear your holiday finery, and be ready to sing along to a familiar carol or two. The University Club regularly supports the Claremont High School Music Department.

December 13 – "Antiques Road Show with Zoe TeBeau"

Speaker – Zoe TeBeau, certified appraiser

Once again Zoe TeBeau brings her own version of the “Antiques Road Show” to the University Club. This event was great fun last year. You are invited to bring one item to be informally appraised, an object of curiosity to be identified, or a personal memento to share. Watch and learn as Miss TeBeau uses her expertise and years of experience and knowledge to help us evaluate our prized possessions. If your item is big, heavy, or too delicate to handle, take a picture of it with your phone. She will use the phone image to evaluate it. As an independent accredited appraiser and a member of International Society of Appraisers (ISA), she is required to remain continually updated and tested in appraisal knowledge and must adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. The designation of ISA is assurance that appraisal reports meet the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, the only standard for appraisals, which is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and The Appraisal Foundation.
